What it actually is

More than a yoga class. A full nervous-system reset.

Most people who come aren't yoga people. They can't sleep, they feel switched on all the time, they've tried the studio and the app and something is still off. Three hours in nature, with the right mix of movement, breath and stillness, does more than three weeks of trying to relax on your own. You go home a different version of yourself.

What you get

Guided nature hike

A gentle 2โ€“4km trail through Sydney's best landscapes, open to all fitness levels. We walk slowly and breathe deeply, so you arrive present rather than puffed out.

Outdoor yoga flow

A grounding sequence to release tension from the hike and open the body, adapted to the group on the day.

Breathwork session

Guided breathing that shifts your nervous system in minutes. The part people don't expect, and don't forget.

Guided meditation

A grounding nature meditation to settle everything the morning brought up, so you can carry it home with you.

Closing circle and tea

Optional sharing over herbal tea, with time to actually talk. No pressure to speak, and plenty of people leave with new friends.

Take-home toolkit

Audio recordings of the breathwork and meditation, so you can find this state again at home. Yours to keep.

How it works

7:45am โ€” Arrival and welcome

Meet at the trailhead with hot herbal tea. Quick intros, get your bearings, and leave your phone in the car.

8:00am โ€” The hike begins

A slow, mindful walk through one of Sydney's most beautiful nature reserves. We stop, we breathe, we notice.

9:30am โ€” Outdoor yoga flow

We reach a quiet clearing, mats come out, and we flow through everything the hike loosened up.

10:30am โ€” Breathwork

The most powerful part for most people: 45 minutes of guided breathing that resets your nervous system.

11:30am โ€” Meditation in nature

A grounding meditation lying on the earth. This is where most of the unexpected release happens.

12:30pm โ€” Closing circle and tea

Sharing, connection and a slow walk back. Most people swap numbers, and many book the next retreat before they leave.

FAQ

Not at all. The hike is a scenic walk, not a climb, and the yoga adapts to whoever shows up. If you can walk for 90 minutes at a relaxed pace, you can do this.
Comfortable clothes, sturdy walking shoes, water, sunscreen and a light snack. Bring a mat if you have one, or borrow ours. Full details come in your confirmation email.
Yes, most participants come solo. The small group of 12 makes it easy to feel comfortable, and many people leave with new friends.
We run in light rain. If severe weather is forecast we reschedule with at least 48 hours' notice, and you can move to the next retreat or get a full refund.
No payment at booking. Once we confirm your spot within 12 hours, you'll get a secure link to pay. If we can't confirm, you pay nothing.
Our retreats are designed for adults, so 18 and over as a rule. We do run the occasional family-friendly retreat, so email us if you'd like to come with younger ones and we'll let you know when the next one is.
Yes, private retreats for 8โ€“12 people are one of our most popular offerings. Email hello@yogaverse.com.au and we will put a proposal together within a couple of days.
